General Features

Clear Icons
For RentalPlanner, we designed a whole new set of icons. These icons are according to the new XP-standards, and assure a neat, clear look of the program, while the pictures give a quick understanding of the meaning of the icon.

Item-finder
Navigating through your items has become even easier in RentalPlanner. Besides the familiar finders you can now also navigate using the treeview. More->

Autoformat of grids
All Lists, Finders and other dialogs that use grids, now support the Autoformat-feature.

Easier calculation of insurance
If you charge your customer insurance-costs, you may enter an insurance percentage per itemgroup. The costs will be added automatically in a Job.

Redesigned and New Features

RentalPlanner Workspace
RentalPlanner Workspace is a desktop for RentalPlanner. Configurable for each individual user, this Workspace may list current Jobs, late returns, crew- and transporttasks etc. More->

New Repairs-module
The Repairs-module has been renewed completely.

New Subhire-module
The Subhire-module has been renewed completely aswell. It now allows your to combine all items of the same supplier into one subhire, and allows you to either subhire for a specific Job or for a specific period.

Test-module
The Test-module allows for entering and tracking test-reports for each individual item. A link with popular test-euipment is also included in RentalPlanner.

Redesigned Return-module
The Return-module has been redigned completely, and now supports automatic extension of non-returned items. 

Jobs

Multiple Job-windows
RentalPlanner
supports multiple job-windows, which means you can open a number of different jobs at the same time. This allows to easily move equipment from one job to another.

Save External Documents in Jobs
You may now save links to external documents, like Word docs, AutoCad drawings etc. with Jobs in RentalPlanner.

Access Jobs through the Company-database
In RentalPlanner, you can access all Jobs for a specifiec client directly from that clients basic data.

Access Jobs through the 'Show Jobs' window
In RentalPlanner, you can access the Jobs shown in the result-window of the Show Jobs dialog directly by double-clicking on the job.

New 'Tabs'-feature in equipment-lists
RentalPlanner introduces a unique, new 'Tabs'-feature. This allows you to split up your equipment-lists in any number of 'tabs' (pages). Tabs can easily added, renamed and removed from an equipmentlist.

Check for expiration of Quotes
RentalPlanner allows you to set expiration dates for quotations. You may receive a warning if expired quotations are present, or you may want to list them in your Workspace. 

New garphical 'Show per Day' window
Planboards have always been a core feature of RentalPlanner. In RentalPlanner, a new graphical display of the available stock of an item completes this feature.
